Development appeals →Development appeals
Your permit was refused, a neighbour appealed your approval, or a development is planned next door. We help you understand the appeal, prepare your case and, if you want, represent your planning case before the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board.
Deadlines are short: most appeals must be filed within 21 days.
How it works
We gather the information we need, such as your Real Property Report and photos, and sometimes conduct a site visit.
We prepare your drawings, typically within 5 to 10 business days, and send you a draft to review and approve before anything is submitted.
We submit the application on your behalf and handle the municipality's questions and revisions until your permit is issued.
Most permit delays come from small gaps in the drawings. We find them before the municipality does.
